We have an opening for a Data & Reporting Analyst to provide data collection, data management, data analysis and reporting, formulating recommendations for and works to implement cost-effective and relevant systems to support overall business strategies.

Requirements

Key duties include:

  • Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of business areas supported to determine specific business requirements; periodic air and ground travel to other company locations is required, up to 10% of the time.
  • Collaborate effectively with members of the Leadership Team to configure software, reports, and analytics systems.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and recommendations for management and end users as needed.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and other visualizations on data.
  • Complete required documentation to communicate information to IT and business teams.
  • Participate in IT projects focused on supporting company strategic goals as well as daily operations; responsible for projects through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • In consultation with other members of the IT team, research and evaluate solutions and recommend the most effective and efficient options based on existing systems, available technology, equipment capacity and limitations and desired outcome and results.
  • Back up other IT functions as needed.

What it takes to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • 2 years' experience as a Data and Reporting Analyst or in a related position
  • Ability to develop, document and implement business systems policies and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP environment.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to think creatively.
  • Advanced math and reading skills.
  • Superb attention to detail, excellent verbal communication skills, presentation skills, coolness under time pressure, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
