Division Overview

Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

Use databases to analyze and build easily understood dashboards for internal and external use. Analyze data for the purpose of highlighting and implementing significant improvements both with process and system improvements. Act as a solutions expert to improve processes for Customer Service, Sales, and the Customer. This position has a hybrid schedule opportunity: work from home twice a week and in-office, three days a week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Use Power BI and other applications to create and organize data to make informed decisions, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
• Support a variety of analytical solutions by conducting complex data analysis and detailed reporting.
• Assist with the research, development, and implementation of new business solutions.
• Supporting VMI by facilitating order launches, replenishment analysis, reporting, and account maintenance.
• Analyze EDI/VMI and client reported support issues, determine root cause, and apply corrective action.

Skills and Experience

• BA/BS in Business/IT related fields preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years in a similar Data Analyst/Business Analyst function.
• Experience developing dashboards with Power BI and other Office 365 software.
• Knowledge of SQL, DAX, and Power Query M.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Prior experience with warehouse distribution and replenishment useful.
• Familiarity wtih EDI; including experience with VANs, ANSI X12, and SAP iDocs.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and business units.
