Responsibilities

• Lead the data science team by setting performance standards, assigning tasks, and providing guidance to ensure professional growth and project success.
• Engage with clients to deeply understand their business needs, maintain effective communication, and use persuasion and negotiation skills as necessary to align project objectives with business goals.
• Foster and uphold the company’s culture within the team, ensuring a harmonious work environment that encourages collaboration, resilience and innovation.
• Ensure the execution of projects is on schedule and meets the high-quality standards expected by the company and its clients, with a particular focus on generating actionable insights that drive business value.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications industry, with a proven track record of leading data-driven projects that encompass areas such as churn prediction, customer segmentation, network optimization, and strategic marketing initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in analytical tools and programming languages such as Python and SQL, and familiarity with machine learning frameworks and statistical modeling techniques is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts. Experience in performance management, task delegation, and professional development of team members.
•  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels, including non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to oversee project scopes, timelines, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
• Skilled in negotiation and persuasion, able to engage effectively with clients to align project outcomes with business goals.
• Ability to foster and maintain a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and innovation. Commitment to supporting and promoting the company’s culture.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and Google Cloud technologies (preferred)
• Advanced in English
