The Opportunity
Adobe Analytics is looking to hire a machine learning scientist who can apply AI/ML techniques to solve data driven problems in Analytics. Partnering with engineers and product managers, you will be working on the development of various data science models that address challenging business problems. You will have the opportunity to exercise creativity in problem solving by delivering inventive new solutions within our data ecosystem. As part of this organization, you will be partnering with Adobe Research, work on challenging Machine Learning problems, their implementation, and work with engineers to scale to production. What you'll do
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, researchers, and product managers to implement AI/ML solutions into Adobe Analytics
- Survey and understand prior literature to evaluate and recommend the best approaches for solving the problems at hand
- Design and implement ML algorithms
- Use models and infrastructure from Adobe Research to take that work to production.
- Train, evaluate, and deploy large scale ML models on a regular basis
What you need to succeed
- MS or PhD in a technical field (Computer Science, Physics, Math, Statistics). PhD Preferred.
- 6+ years' proven experience in a data science role
- Proficiency in optimization methods and reinforcement learning
- Consistent track record of training, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in products
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning and analytics concepts, with experience solving problems using these methods
- A strong proficiency in querying and manipulating large data sets for analytical purposes
- Familiarity with NLP
- Coding expertise in one or more of Python, Scala, MLLib, Pandas, Numpy, Pytorch, Keras, Tensorflow
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $140,200 -- $261,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
