Sabre is seeking a talented Data Science Engineer to support the Hospitality Solutions SynXis Insights Team. This person will report to the Hospitality Solutions Product Development organization.

Job Description
Under minimal supervision, is responsible for the engineering processes involved in collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing of huge sets of data. The primary focus will be on choosing optimal solutions to use for these purposes, then maintaining, implementing, and monitoring them. You will also be responsible for integrating them with the architecture used across the company.

Some of the daily tasks will be (but not limited to):

• Defining and executing data collection strategies to gather relevant information. Desing and manage ETL processes.
• Automating steps of the ETL process using Google services and/or Python.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.
• Data Model design.
• Data Quality assurance.

Job Requirements

• Strong analytical skills
• Working experience in Business Intelligence solutions (Qlikview/Qlik Sense, Tableau, Cognos, Looker [preferred], MS Power BI or similar)
• Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop or similar technologies.
• Strong SQL and/or relational database knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming will be valued.
• Ability to work on several projects at the same time.
• Good “Problem Solver”
• Willingness to learn and learn quickly.
• Ability to adjust to changes.
• Strong team player.
• Must be responsive and conscientious in their day-to-day responsibilities.
