Data Science Intern

Currently, we're seeking driven individuals with a background in data science and an interest in analyzing large datasets to optimize our pricing and risk assessment processes for a paid internship.

Interns play a vital role within our team, fully engaged from day one with structured training, mentorship, and exposure to diverse experiences across the organization. This internship offers hands-on involvement in real-world operational projects, collaborating with various teams to enhance our pricing models and risk evaluation techniques.

As a Data Science Intern, you'll work collaboratively with teams across data analysis and product development. Your contributions will directly impact our pricing strategies, ultimately driving better decision-making and enhancing our competitive edge.

Projects You'll Tackle

You'll be responsible for entering and analyzing large volumes of data to identify trends and patterns that can inform our pricing strategies and risk assessment models. This includes:

• Cleaning and organizing large datasets for analysis.
• Identifying key variables and metrics relevant to pricing and risk assessment.
• Analyzing data to uncover trends, correlations, and insights.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into pricing and risk assessment processes.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field, or possessing equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Benefits

• Timing: We are considering spring and/or summer internship opportunities. 
• This internship will pay an hourly wage of $20/hr. Expected hours per week will be about 20 hours, flexible depending on candidate availability.
• Weekly development from a team of experienced data scientists, product managers, and technologists.
