Data Science Internship

• Research and complete assigned project(s) for the Data Science Team
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and results using statistical techniques
• Prepare reports, visualizations, and presentations for assigned projects
• Deliver final presentation to Data Science Team and Supervisors
• Research and develop new ways to improve existing functionality
• Proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement
• Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives
• All employees have a professional duty to provide any information related to security issues, incidents or situations that present a potential security risk to the ISO Team, ISN Management or their Supervisor

• Working towards Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Operations Research, MIS, Applied Statistics or related quantitative field

• Some experience in database and data manipulation tools – SQL (and add-on services), Alteryx, Knime
• Some experience in statistical analysis of data using tools such as Python, R, SAS etc.
• Exposure to at least one visualization tool (Tableau preferred)
• Desire to learn new technologies
• Able to work in a team environment
• Demonstrate personal initiative
• Solid analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
