What You'll Do

• As a data science leader, you'll help define and deliver a variety of projects for clients that leverage a variety of techniques across multiple technologies and industries.

• Facilitate discussions with clients on data science opportunities and guide them in understanding the value of analytical data and how to get started with data science initiatives.

• Define and shape the Data Science go-to-market strategy for our local data science team.

• Develop, train, test and deploy data science solutions in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake or Azure.

• Help establish data science capabilities for clients including defining strategic roadmaps, initiatives, and priorities. You'll also help define cloud architecture for data science, tool selection, develop and deploy models.

• Build partnerships internal and external partners to support sales processes and team development.

• Provide expertise and guidance on MLOps, and implementing batch analytics and interactive inference in Production environments.

• Leverage technology depth and help clients envision how to integrate analytical insights into business decision making, dashboards, and tools like Salesforce.

• Develop and mentor data scientists, building the team to be capable with new techniques and tools.

What You'll Bring

• Experience leading and inspiring high-performance teams that can deliver on a variety of projects.

• Ability to engage with senior business stakeholders, execute level communication and influencing skills.

• Experience building, deploying, and scaling data science projects using cloud solutions like AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.

• Experience developing models using a variety of techniques and presenting the findings to stakeholders, as well as providing recommendations on how to incorporate outputs into business processes.

• Experience with the MLOps, DevOps, and agile development processes.

• Strong leadership skills, strategic mindset and experience leading technical teams focused on deploying data and analytics solutions.

• Experience providing coaching, mentorship to team members and advising on career development.

• Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes for analytics, including data transformations using SQL, Python, or similar tools/technologies.

Preferred experience also includes:

• Proficiency with data visualization and BI toolslike Tableau, PowerBI, Looker

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python.

• Knowledge of data modeling, theories, and practices to provide optimal cost and performance benefit to clients.
