Data Science Manager- Revenue Operations

As a leader on the Revenue Operation Science & Strategy team, you’ll help develop the vision and lead the improvements to how we make critical decisions to run our dynamic Rideshare marketplace. You’ll be managing data scientists, and also building relationships and partnering with product, engineering and business leaders. The ideal candidate can navigate complex technical topics, is experienced in strategic problem-solving, and has a strong track record of developing teams to deliver business impact.
Responsibilities:- Lead and grow a high-performing team of data scientists with diverse skill sets
- Work with cross-functional partners in product, engineering, finance, and operations to achieve business goals
- End-to-end owner for Rideshare’s marketplace investment frameworks; Develop analytical frameworks to support marketplace strategy and analytics
- Collaborate with analytics and operations partners to improve decision-making processes; Become a key driver for cross functional marketplace councilsÂ
- Responsible for Rideshare’s marketplace health and balance through both short term and long term decisions and strategies.
- Collaborate with executives and other leaders to build data-informed business strategy and product roadmaps. Serve as a champion of sound decision-making at all levels of the company
- Degree in a quantitative field like statistics, economics, applied math, operations research or engineering (advanced degrees are preferred) or relevant work experience
- 8+ years of hands-on technical experience in a data science role or equivalent
- 4+ years management experience building and leading data science and/or analytics teams
- Expert in using data science expertise to improve business outcomes
- Track record of guiding teams through unstructured technical problems to deliver business impact
- Skilled at managing cross-functional relationships and communicating with leadership across multiple teams
- Willingness to collaborate and communicate with others to drive cross-team and cross-organization initiatives forward

For candidates living in Colorado the expected base pay range is $182,160-$222,640Â and depending on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
This role is work-from-anywhere, excluding the following states and U.S. territory:Â Kansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Puerto Rico
