Data Science Quality Assurance Senior Associate

Job Description The mission of the AI Transformation & Engagements team is to enable at-scale development, testing, deployment, and continuous integration and delivery of AI/ML technologies in order to drive fundamental improvement in the quantity and quality of AI training data sets, accelerate AI delivery (measured in days and months), and improve AI performance. Enable a firmwide AI ecosystem with integrated platform, controls, compliance, and responsible AI. Provide the foundation and support for our business partners to consistently deliver AI solutions within targets, and in turn, create next generation market share.
What you will be doing:

• Lead the implementation of test infrastructure and best practices that enable ML and Data engineers to test and deploy scalable, reliable, and cost-effective code and models into production.
• Build a test-driven data science and engineering culture that drives improvements in quality and reliability.
• Work closely with other engineers to understand features, technical implementation, deployment architecture and cost.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Data Scientists, and Customer Operation to understand customer usage.
• Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple products.
• Plan, develop and execute test coverage for multiple platforms.
• Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences.
• Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution.
• Own the process of creating metrics to measure and monitor product performance.
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvements.
• Identify, test, track and report KPI trends over the course of the projects.

What you need in order to succeed:

• 5+ years experience in testing large scale systems.
• Hands-on leadership experience and influencing skills.
• Core development experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and data structures.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrable experience in writing clean code quickly.
• Command of QA methodologies, life cycle and processes.
• Experience in writing testing frameworks and automation tools.
• Background in test automation.
• Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools & automation frameworks.
