Data Scientist: CarParts.com, Inc. seeks Data Scientist. Job site is located at 2050 W. 190th Street, 4th Floor, Torrance, CA 90504. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in quantitative field such as coding, statistics, data science or another closely related field. Special Skills: Requires Knowledge of coding, Spark, python, numpy, pandas, sklearn, SQL, Mongo DB, Airflow, Git, Databricks

Job Duties:

Interact with business stakeholders to identify and drive forward data science solutions; Leverage pySpark and SQL to wrangle large amounts of data across dozens of sources into a unified data model; Design ETL pipelines for data modeling and reporting; Apply solid coding skills, strong analytical thinking, and machine learning expertise to turn ideas into data-driven pricing strategy; Develop analytic dashboards and automated solutions; Communicate complex analysis in a clean & simple way to multiple stakeholders.
