Data Scientist

A growing Insurtech are currently looking for a Data Scientist to join their Underwriting Analytics team. The role focuses on supporting the development and deployment of statistical models that underpin underwriting decisions. Responsibilities: Build and maintain underwriting models using statistical and machine learning techniques. Partner with product to implement models and support regulatory requirements Contribute to strategic projects including telematics and device data integration Provide analytical insights to influence business and product decisions Qualifications Degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, economics or similar Knowledge of the Insurance industry or at least broader Financial Services Strong technical skills with tools like Python, R, SQL or SAS Familiarity with GLM/GAM modeling and an understanding of insurance economics If you are interested in applying, please reach out [email protected].
