JOB SUMMARY:
Join our dynamic Data & Analytics team as a Data Scientist, where you will play a crucial role in shaping our marketing and advertising strategies using data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will include collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our media campaigns across various channels. Through actionable recommendations, you will contribute to optimizing our marketing efforts and achieving our business objectives. This role can be remote or a part of our Chicago or Detroit office.
* While our offices are currently open, daily in-office attendance is not required.

Requirements
The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $90,000 to $105,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leverage advanced analytical and statistical methodologies, specifically SQL, Alteryx, and Python or R, to work with extensive and intricate datasets, addressing a wide range of complex challenges.
- Access to the largest US consumer database hosted on prem by Fusion92, providing the opportunity to work with true "big data" and implement ML or AI solutions.
- Contribute to a growing team, shaping our analytics offering portfolio, and fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to provide actionable insights for optimizing media campaigns.
- Provide guidance on and implement strategic audience curation.
- Apply technical proficiency in quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data presentation to develop strategies for diverse clients across various industries.
- Create and maintain data models.
- Perform analysis to benchmark our performance against client and industry standards.
- Design compelling visualizations and presentations to effectively communicate complex data findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Execute extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) tasks.
- Translate hypotheses about marketing campaign behavior into models for campaign improvement.
- Establish, predict, and monitor key product metrics to evaluate the success of product initiatives and understand emerging trends.
- Be prepared to address urgent requests and deliver insights promptly.
- Maintain organized documentation of data sources, methodologies, and results.
- Create and deliver regular reports to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in data querying languages (e.g., SQL), Alteryx, scripting languages (e.g., Python or R), and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau).
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in analytics.
- Comprehensive statistical knowledge (regression/classification models, design of experiments, statistical testing, etc.) and experience applying it to real-world projects.
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in data science in client relationship management, marketing, and direct marketing.
