Data Scientist

Remote position (only for professionals based in Argentina or Uruguay)

At Ryz Labs, we are seeking a Data Scientist for our internal team. Join our innovative AI project, where we are on a mission to redefine communication through artificial intelligence. Our AI messaging tool helps businesses and individuals enhance their messaging experiences with advanced, intuitive AI-driven interactions.

As a Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to drive insights for our cutting-edge AI messaging tool. You will collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to develop data-driven models and algorithms, contributing to our AI solutions' continuous improvement and optimization.

Basic Qualifications: 

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, statistics, economics, or a quantitative related field

- 4+ years of experience in Python, including the application of AI/ML models to BI solutions

- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis

- Familiarity with PowerBI and Tableau or similar BI tools for creating dashboards and reports

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, execute, and maintain Python code, including PySpark, within an Azure environment (e.g., Azure Fabric, Azure Synapse).

- Take charge of consolidating and optimizing data pipelines and sources for client projects.

- Build the foundational elements for Machine Learning (ML) and Experimentation Environments.

- Establish and manage connections with SQL Databases and Lakehouse variations for integration into Python environments.

- Parse and export data effectively to derive analytical and scientific insights.

- Independently connect and manage data from and to various sources, including APIs, databases, Redshift, and Azure.

- Engage in less technical tasks such as SQL builds and pipeline developments as needed, supporting the production of experimentation environments.

- Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools to visualize data independently, ensuring no reliance on other team members for this task.

- Prepare data for, build, execute, and interpret results from experimentation environment; capable of closed-loop, iterative enhancements to continually improve results.
