General Summary and Purpose:

We are looking for a Data Scientist to support the scale up of our Data and Analytics team. You have expertise in artificial intelligence through use of machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype and build next-generation advanced analytics engines and services. You will work with the broader Data and Analytics team to implement machine learning algorithms supporting Victory business units, collaborate with team members to design data experiments, develop efficient models that mimic our decisions, drive revenue using data modeling and incorporate them into analytical data products or tools.

You will report to the Director of Data and Analytics.

You Will:

• Write machine learning code and apply analytics to solve business problems
• Work with collaborators to develop novel ways to meet goals using cutting edge techniques and tools
• Communicate the analytics approach and how it will meet and address goals to collaborators
• Advocate and educate on the value of data-driven decision-making focusing on the "how and why" of solving problems
• Implement analytical approaches by integrating work into applications and tools with data engineers, business leads, analysts and developers
• Create repeatable, interpretable, dynamic and scalable models that are incorporated into analytic data products
• Engineer features to find new ways to combine different data sources
• Share your passion for Data Science with broader enterprise community; develop long-term processes, frameworks, tools, methods and standards
• Stay connected with external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements

You Have:

• 1-4 years' experience with Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, Informatics and required OR Graduate degree in quantitative discipline and demonstrated Data Science skills
• Python proficiency working with DataFrames and writing complex SQL queries
• Experience operating within an Agile team
• Experience implementing hypothesis testing
• Have proficiency with Machine Learning to solve clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection, simulation and optimization problems on large-scale data sets
• Can merge and transform different data sets together to create new features
• Experience deploying models in AWS; Sagemaker and Spark ecosystem
• Experience supporting deployment, monitoring, maintenance and enhancement of models
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, R Shiny, Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib
