Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist, you will help customers drive business value using the E2open Demand Signal Management product portfolio. You will possess a deep understanding of statistics and business analytics and ensure you are equipped to drive business value through innovation using algorithms and models that can be utilized for supply chain retail analytics. In this role, you will partner closely with our customers and participate in customer on site visits for Fortune 500 clients to discuss requirements.

Duties:

• Define, design, develop and implement innovative data analytics solutions for customers
• Align integrated customer data and requirements with innovative and predictive solutions to generate customized actionable business intelligence
• Leveraging inhouse cloud data warehouse for algorithms like trend tracking, outlier detections, geo clustering, forecasting, and exception tracking
• Creating predictive models to generate forward-looking insights using algorithms like Regression, Decision Trees, Time Series, and Clustering utilizing Python pipelines.
• Research and develop best practices and use cases in supplier analytics for enabling predictive insights
• Work with cross-functional development teams to execute advanced analytic solutions based on customer requirements and goals
• Develop test plans and test solutions to validate met requirements
• Provide end user support in post deployment
• Assess and evaluate all feedback to ensure that issues are addressed correctly

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or Industrial Engineering
• Advanced SQL knowledge and in-depth data warehouse understanding
• 1-5 years of advanced statistics background and in-depth knowledge of basic algorithms like regression, and time-series
• 1-5 years of demonstrated experience in using Python and implementing machine learning models using Python libraries
• Knowledge of BI Tools or visualizations for presenting model outputs
• Outstanding communication skills; able to communicate with all levels of an organization
• Ability to present strategic information, data, and results in a clear and understandable manner utilizing methods appropriate to various forums
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, informal environment where constant change is the norm and the bar for delivering results is set high
• Background in retail analytics preferred
• Knowledge of category management or supply chain management is a plus
