Data Scientist

Introduction
In this role you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will be part of a small data science team with the goal to investigate how meal management for diabetic people can be facilitated using predictive modelling. You will leverage time-series data involving different signals and simulation environments to test different meal management related models with the goal to define a new feature that should be integrated in the clients diabetes companion app.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with:
– Data Ingestion to Snowflake: data exploration and preparation EDA to identify data trends splitting text data into chunks
– Feature engineering: tagging the data new feature generation augment the data create a Snowflake Feature Store
– Train/Tune ML Model
– Build REST APIs to communicate with the models
– fluent in both English and Romanian
