Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate Consultant you will work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the
opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational

You’re right at the intersection of technology people and process helping your clients transform how
they adapt to shifts in the market and more closely align their business strategy and vision. Associate
Consultants are important and key players for our clients. You’ll be their guide to developing an
understanding of their processes goals and objectives to define their future state then help them get
there.
As an Associate AI & Analytics Consultant you will play an important role in advising clients on
transforming their business using analytical thinking and data science. We are on a mission to help our
clients turn data into business value. Therefore you’ll work closely with clients and other talented
IBM’ers to understand our clients’ needs and make strategic recommendations to address these
tailored to the client’s unique situation and data maturity.

Within your role as an AI & Analytics Associate Consultant you will:
• Assist our clients in leveraging their data potential. Steps in this process entail finding the best use cases building and articulating the business cases testing the data hypotheses using advanced analytics defining requirements for proper implementation and finally being part of the realisation.
• Combine the appropriate mix of functional and technical expertise to create solutions to solve a business problem by identifying needs and opportunities creating hypotheses and performing assessments to define strategic recommendations for our clients.
• Test hypotheses using prominent open source and/or IBM proprietary technologies to apply a variety of advanced analytics techniques.
• Design and develop the data architecture and advanced analytics solutions from a business functional perspective.
• Collaborate with your fellow practice members and pioneers to make the community stronger and make IBM the preferred digital reinvention partner for our clients in data and analytics.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• We welcome recent graduates with maximum 1 year of work experience and final-year students with less than 6 months of studies left.
• Degree in Mathematics Computer Science Data Science Business Economics Business & Management or related studies
• Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and can build trust based working relationships across all levels.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ready to drive the growth of your career.
• Powerful communication and storytelling skills and an ability to communicate complex situations clearly and simply.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities
• Willingness to travel up to 2 days a week depending on business demand
• Fluent in Dutch and English with strong communication skills both in writing and verbally
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands and European Union without any restriction.
