Department Overview

The Service Design Tools & Infrastructure (SDTI) team is a strategic component of Centralized Managed Support Operations (CMSO), responsible for providing exceptional Service Design & innovative technology solutions to enable and empower MSI Centralized Managed Support Operations to meet and exceed customer's expectations. In this role, you will fit in the “Data & Analytics” team within SDTI.
Job Description

The Job would require the candidate to integrate and normalize data from several data sources like flat files, logfiles, databases (MSSQL, Postgres etc) into a DataLake. Analyzing the data in great detail and providing the ability to transform the data into meaningful value-added metrics.

Skills Required:

• Python - Ability to code in Python Programming, and a good understanding of Python Frameworks. Should be very familiar with the Python Libraries and the usage. Must have used Pandas Library extensively in working with Dataframes and calculations to manage and prepare data.

• Databases - A very good understanding of Databases and concepts. Databases like Redshift , Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres. Ability in writing SQL statements and tuning the queries for improved performance.

  
  

• Quantitative Skills - The candidate should possess strong math skills. Skills to analyze large sets of data, find patterns, create visualizations to communicate information to peers and management, make inferences from the information contained in the data, summarize and provide conclusions and recommendations.

• Additional - Must have strong communication skills. Ability to work with the team and must have the desire to learn and explore and make discoveries and also bring in new ideas and thoughts
