Position Title: Data Scientist I

Position Description: Hours: 40 hrs per wk.

9:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Preparing data sets in SQL server, Tabular Analysis Services and Hadoop for consumption by various business end-users; conduct exploratory data analysis from complex data sources and build key data sets to support Granite's Bid Data objectives; act as an AI thought leader, including the creation of whitepapers, presentations, executive briefings, reports, and other materials to support AI solutions and services; work with Hadoop cluster on big data problems to grow business insight; maintain and uphold data science best practices on new methodologies, technologies, industry trends, and open source packages; and perform analysis using data science techniques on structured and unstructured datasets and develop algorithms for targeted business needs.
