Data Scientist II

Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Data Scientist II at our facility in Richardson, Texas to perform data analysis and build customer segmentation algorithms that can aide the business drive their core objectives.

What You’ll Do: 

• Research and implement state-of-the-art Machine Learning solutions, build end-to-end pipelines including feature engineering, modeling, and deployment.
• Build data visualization dashboards that can provide quick insights into customer behavior.
• Work with the data engineering team to build out a feature set that encompasses all attributes, creating datasets that can be shared across the teams.
• Implement scalable solutions to help business setup experiments and create pipelines that can compute statistical significance and uplift modeling.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field, and 3 years of experience.
• Will accept a Master’s degree and 1 year of experience.
• Experience must include 1 year with: Python programming and data pipeline best practices;
• Applied machine learning, including collaborative filtering, regression, dimensionality reduction, factor analysis, and support vector machines, TFIDF, Topic Modeling;
• Model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and feature engineering techniques;
• Programming experience in Python, Scala, or another modern programming language; and
• SQL and the ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries.
