Data Scientist III

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and support innovative capabilities to service critical functions of the business that include: account monitoring, statistical model validations and strategic workflow optimizations. Provide Pre and Post-Sales analytic support for customers servicing a variety industries which include (but not limited to): financial banking, card, auto, retail, short-term lending, mortgage and e-commerce. Serve as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis best practices and willing to train and mentor junior data scientists. Design innovative initiatives that deliver new analytic insights and thought leadership to the business and its customers. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Data Science, Quantitative Methods, or a related field required.
• 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupations required.

• Also required is: 1 year of experience: analyzing and mining very large amounts of data to assess patterns and insights using the multiple analytic stacks such as Excel, R, Python, SAS, SQL etc.; developing reports using Power BI and other/or other reporting tools like Tableau, Looker, etc.; and using data analytics tools to effectively resolve client issues, while valuing client needs as high priority.
• Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions FL, Inc. office in Minneapolis, MN, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
