Data Scientist Lead

Job Description DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Lead modeling engagement from understanding the business objective and evaluating the models' business impact, through data sourcing and analysis, to model development and deployment. Leverage machine learning and natural language processing to develop scalable solutions in client services and operations domain. Perform advanced quantitative and statistical analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can be used to improve client experience. Analyze and evaluate the ongoing performance of developed models. Manage strong relationships with various stakeholders. Telecommuting is permitted from any location in the U.S.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's Degree in Computational and Mathematical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computational Science or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as a Data Scientist Lead, Data Scientist, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience in the following: SQL; R; Python; AWS or other cloud infrastructure; Working with relational and non-relational databases; ML techniques including: regression, classification, time series, clustering, deep learning, hypothesis testing, cross validation, feature selection and feature extraction; NLP techniques including: topic modeling, entity extraction, summarization, and sentiment analysis; Working with machine learning and natural language processing libraries such as: scikit-learn, tensor flow, keras, numpy, pandas, CoreNLP, spacY, nltk, pyTorch, NetworkX, or genism; and Building data pipelines and deploying ML models and data visualization techniques.
