About the Role

In this position, you will be part of the Performance Optimization Team, responsible for developing and implementing analytical components to optimize the performance of our decision engine. You will be leading end-to-end solutions, including researching capability enhancement, designing new solutions and refining existing systems. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will integrate these ML capabilities into our decision pipeline, driving value for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Optimize Decision-Making with Advanced Analytical Tools: Turn insights into automated decision-making by applying cutting-edge algorithms and data science principles. Leading end-to-end development of the solution, from ideation, and design to implementation. 
• Design the way decisions are made in Riskified: be part of our Performance and Risk management platform - converting contractual obligations into mathematical constraints, optimizing risk profiles and yielding superior results. 
• Be part of a delivering, professional team: foster a culture of innovation, advocate for improvements, scaling and extension of ML tooling and value creation.
• Build reliant, scalable solutions: monitor application health, track relevant metrics, and implement effective maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist 
• BSc in quantitative field (Computer science, Engineering, Physics, etc.) . M.Sc/Ph.D - Advantage
• Experience in developing ML solutions successfully, from data analysis to evaluation and deployment 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to business stakeholders
• Solid understanding of building production-grade services, with a good understanding of scale, distributed systems, and up-to-date software development concepts (CI/CD, dockerization & more)
• Experience with distributed processing engines - specifically in spark - Advantage
• Demonstrated experience in the application of MLOps frameworks and tools - Advantage
