Data Scientist - Product Analyst

For our Milan or Verona office or fully-remote, we are looking for a Data Scientist - Product Analyst with strong technical skills and excellent business acumen.

What you will do

• You will work with the product/tech/design teams in order to:

  • Understanding the mechanisms behind the users and the product to help shaping its evolution based on solid quantitative reasoning

  • Monitoring key product metrics, understanding root causes of changes in metrics

  • Evaluating and defining metrics

  • Designing and evaluating experiments

  • Building and analyzing dashboards and reports (for internal and external stakeholders)

• You will analyze our data in order to:

  • Identifying new levers to help move key metrics

  • Communicating state of business, experiment results, etc. to product teams

  • Understanding the product ecosystem, behaviors and long-term trends.

  • Spreading best practices to analytics and product teams

• Excellent business judgment;

• 2+ years of experience;

• Quantitative university degree (Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, Math);

• Excellent logical reasoning;

• Proficiently use SQL, Relational Databases, Python;

• Experience with Machine Learning models (preferably in Python and applied to a business context);

• Fluent in English;

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources;

• Be able to legally work in Europe (you are the holder of a EU Passport or you are the holder of EU residency permit or you are the holder of a Schengen Work Visa).

Desired skills

• Agile development experience desirable;

• Experience with a cloud platform (AWS, GCP);

• Machine Learning, Modelling, stats, and big data skills are more than welcome.
