About the team
Governance and Experience(GNE) Data Scientist works closely with the GNE Algo&Ops teams in each region, is aiming to support the GNE team to make TikTok shop a safe and trustworthy platform for customers, sellers and influencers. What you can get here is totally different from a pure shelf-based ecommerce business model. Join us, and let's change the way people shop online!

1.Set up the metrics to measure governance and experience(GNE) operation activities, including management of risk, fraud and abuse, as well as experiences from sellers, customers and influencers;
2. Responsible for justifying GNE business value in a scientific way, work closely with the business teams to figure out the goals in both short term and long term;
3. Monitoring the key metric changes, and deep dive for the reason behind. Highlight the key insights to business partners with timely response;
4. Make business impact with data and proactively generate insights and solutions for business partners to make the business achieve the goal.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or above, major in mathematics, statistics, computer is preferred; or major in science or engineering or engaged in data statistics, analysis, modeling related working areas after graduation;
2. Proficient in SQL and Tableau, and familiar with Python or R for data analysis is a plus;
3. At least 1 years of working experience in data analysis;
4. Able to complete reports and communicate with global staff and senior leadership independently;
5. Ablitly to quickly pick up the business domain, be a fast learner and be curious;
6. Can keep up with the fast growing business pace, be brave for pressure and be flexible for changes.

Preferred Qualifications:
1.Experience in e-commerce/tech company is highly preferred.
