Position Responsibilities

- Design the data pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support enterprise systems at scale

- Solution Architect in designing transforming and analyzing complex information through Data Engineering and Analytics

- Develop and deploy scalable tools and services to handle machine learning training and inference

- Identify and evaluate cloud native Big Data Analytics and CDC mechanism

- Apply software engineering rigor and best practices to machine learning including CI/CD automation etc.

- Support model development with an emphasis on auditability versioning and data security

- Facilitate the development and deployment cloud/Big Data based Data ingestions and CDC solution

- Communicate with stakeholders to build requirements and track progress

Skillset:

- Experience building end-to-end systems as a Analytics Platform Engineer ML DevOps Engineer or Data Engineer (ETL/ ELT)

- Strong software engineering skills in RDMS Sql Pyspark etc.

- Fluency in Python SAS good to have

- Comfort with Linux administration

- Experience working with cloud computing and database systems Snowflake is a plus

- Experience building custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs real time data pipeline

- Experience developing and maintaining ML systems built with open source tools

- Experience developing with containers and Kubernetes in cloud computing environments

- Familiarity with one or more data-oriented workflow orchestration frameworks (KubeFlow Airflow Argo etc.)

- Ability to translate business needs to technical requirements

- Strong understanding of software testing benchmarking and continuous integration

- Exposure to machine learning methodology and best practices

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between USD ($130kp/a - $135kp/a) depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
