Data Solutions Architect

As we expand our Azure practice, we seek a talented and experienced Azure Data Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team.

As an Azure Data Solutions Architect, you will be pivotal in designing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions for our clients.

You will collaborate with our clients to understand their unique business needs, architect data solutions that leverage Azure's capabilities, and lead the implementation and deployment of these solutions. Your expertise will drive the success of our clients' data initiatives, significantly impacting their business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise during client engagements and proposal development.
• Develop workshop narratives and assessments such as data estate discovery to demonstrate solutions and align client needs with cloud-scale analytics services from Azure.
• Work closely with clients to assess their data requirements and develop tailored Azure data solutions that align with their business objectives.
• Lead the design and architecture of data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics solutions to meet client requirements.
• Define and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) to showcase the value of proposed solutions to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, security, infrastructure, and DevOps professionals, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of data solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure data services and technologies, providing thought leadership and best practices to clients.
• Drive the adoption of data governance, security, and compliance standards within Azure data solutions.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure data services, including but not limited to Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  
• Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  
• Proficiency in data modeling, data integration, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Ability to design scalable and high-performance data architectures on Azure.
• Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau.
  
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or others relevant to data engineering and analytics.
• Azure certifications, such as Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect, are a plus.
