Data Solutions Architect

Our UniQue BI DWH Projects team is growing and we are looking for a Data Solutions Architect to join us.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Be responsible for the definition, analysis and design of complex Data solutions
• Ensure the solution will meet the clients’ needs and add value to their business.
• Be responsible for demos and PoCs
• Analyze current technological solutions used by customers and determine ways to improve them
• Collaborate and coordinate with multiple departments, stakeholders, partners, and external vendors
• Manage end-to-end data architecture, from selecting the platform and design the technical architecture
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• At least 6+ years of experience in Big Data, data warehouse, and data analytics projects
• Background in Architecture, Systems Design, or Software Development
• Strong knowledge in:

• Data processing
• Data storage and processing of large data sets
• Design and implementation of analyses

• Good understanding of:
  • Visualization tools
  • Security aspects
• Demonstrable Cloud experience with Azure, AWS or GCP

The following skills will be considered as assets:

• Experience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong consulting experience and background, including engaging directly with clients
• Desirable certifications (i.e. Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
