Data Solutions Supervisor

We are seeking a dynamic Data Solutions Supervisor at Southeast Toyota Finance (SETF) to lead a team of associates and contractors in developing and supporting innovative data solutions. This job is important for organizing team tasks, guiding our technology direction, and ensuring we provide robust solutions. These solutions aim to improve our work and solve difficult business challenges through data analysis and automation.

This individual will set priorities and guide the team on how to use technology. They will plan, create, and maintain solutions with the team. These solutions promote efficiencies and solve business challenges by leveraging data for reporting automation, and decision-making processes. They will ensure their team adheres to department rules and documentation standards. They will frequently collaborate with various other teams to gather requirements for developing and maintaining these data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team by providing guidance, insights, and direction in support of Data Solutions

• Gather and assess requirements, design, develop, test, deploy, and support data solutions

• Develop and comply with team methodologies, processes, standards, documentation

• Manage Data Solutions development and support work demand

• Perform administration and operations activities

Qualifications:

• Possesses solid solution design skills, with the ability to architect innovative and effective solutions to complex business challenges.

• Proficient in business analysis, with a deep knowledge of identifying and translating business needs into actionable requirements.

• Certified in Six Sigma, utilizing data-driven methodologies to enhance process efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

• Skilled in creating detailed process flow diagrams using Visio or Blueworks to visually represent workflows and optimize processes.

• Expertise in data analysis and management, ensuring reliable data collection, processing, and interpretation to support informed decision-making.

• Experienced in SQL for effective database querying, data manipulation, and management.

• Proficient in using advanced reporting tools like SAS, Cognos, and Tableau to generate insightful and actionable business reports.

With the proper focus provided by the Data Solutions Supervisor, each team member delivers data solutions and services that elevate SETF in the use of technology to solve business challenges and help achieve its goals. Consequently, the Supervisor role plays a critical function in the organization by directing and guiding the team members to maximize their contributions and performance to SETF.

The core technology used by Data Solutions in day-to-day operations includes SAS, Cognos, Tableau, Excel VBA Macros, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Automation Anywhere A360, and Microsoft SQL Studio.
