Position Summary
The Data Specialist will be responsible for supporting Banner's expansion of products into the EPLAN Data Portal and will also manage all day-to-day mass data-loading activities. You will work closely with a team of data analysts, data specialists, IT/OT management and department subject matter experts (SME's) to ensure the data is defined, accurate, consistent, complete, timely and verifiable.
This position reports to the Data Analyst Manager.
According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as:
- Exempt, based on the Professional Exemption
What You'll Be Doing
- Work within an existing EPLAN team at Banner to ensure timely and accurate data preparation of items selected in batch form to be uploaded to the EPLAN Data Portal
- Lead monthly update meetings related to EPLAN and communicate findings to senior management
- Formalize process documentation related to EPLAN data preparation
- Associate wiring/hook-up diagrams to Banner products
- Maintain a database of wiring diagrams for Banner products
- Respond to and troubleshoot data-load requests
- Streamline data-load processes and create data-load 'record' templates
- Identify areas for improvement related to current EPLAN data preparation processes
- Other duties as assigned

Required
- 1-3 years of experience with principles of data management
- 1-3 years of experience with a high level of responsibility entering and maintaining critical data in an engineering, finance, or manufacturing system
- Flexible and able to adapt to change
- Strong desire to learn and develop skills
- Planning and project management skills and experience
- Ability to identify problems, think creatively, and carry out solutions independently or as part of a group
Preferred
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS, Business or related field
- Experience with Informatica, ETL or other similar data integrity tool
- Experience with EPLAN
- Experience with Qliksense and Qlikview
- Experience with Workfront
- Experience with Oracle EBS
