Job Description

πŸš€ The Job Mission

As a Data Steward embedded in the technical team, you will be responsible for supporting the control of the quality of manufacturing mechanical parts for UK nuclear projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

⚑️ Supporting PLM tool users by identifying necessary data, ensuring data initialization, and acting as an interface between users and developers
⚑️ Defining and performing relevant checks to ensure proper use of tools by the technical team and maintaining data quality
⚑️ Proposing mitigation or corrective actions as needed
⚑️ Providing a team performance review based on data related to team activities

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

πŸ›  Mechanical engineering degree or Master of Science in metallurgy/mechanical/engineering
πŸ›  Knowledge and experience with PLM tools, data management, and information systems
πŸ›  Previous experience in an industry or technical field where PLM was used
πŸ›  Competencies in programming and dashboarding
πŸ›  Strong self-organization skills and ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
πŸ›  Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team, communicate effectively with tool users, and support them
πŸ›  Ability to manage technical environments with multiple and urgent demands
πŸ›  Proficiency in Excel/VBA/PowerBI
πŸ›  Knowledge of Dassault 3Dx PLM tool is a plus
πŸ›  Fluent in French and English

Security clearance:

Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

Working locations will be hybrid working with occasional travel to France
