OBJECTIVE

Responsible for leading the strategic initiatives involving data, analysis and storytelling to serve the vision and mission of Passion, Inc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Director of Technology to provide a vision and strategy for analytics and develop an engagement model to inform and support the organization
• Collaborate across all functional areas of Passion, Inc to translate complex problems into optimal data modeling and analytical solutions that drive organizational value
• Advise and consult leadership and team-members on analytics capabilities and recommend solutions
• Manage the procurement, implementation and governance of data platforms and tooling
• Lead day-to-day analytics and visualization function in support of Passion’s vision and mission
• Coordinate the improvements and advancement of reporting and data capabilities across the organization, including analytics skills, data literacy, visualization, and storytelling
• Ensure the integrity, scalability and reliability of all data and analytic solutions
• Assist Technology Director on ad-hoc projects as needed, including annual budgeting and strategic purchases
• Oversee third parties’ contributions and collaborations for alignment and success of any contracted and proposed solutions
• Proficient in writing reports and creating visuals with SQL, Python and other industry standard visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Ensure the development, maintenance and adherence of data related policies including privacy, usage and consent

AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL

A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field. 3+ years of experience in implementing analytical solutions. Self-starter in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with a “do what it takes” attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability and desire to learn new applications/processes/environments. Proficient in SQL and other standard analytical tools. Prior experience to implementing customer data platforms, data warehouses, data lakes would be a significant value.
