Data Strategy Intern

Overview:

Qsight is a division of Guidepoint responsible for creating quantitative real-time insights solutions for investors and manufacturers in the healthcare and wellness spaces to inform their most important strategic, marketing, and sales decisions. Qsight is seeking an intern to assist with data strategy and sourcing efforts, which involves identifying data sources, assessing demand for data insights, researching healthcare subsegments, and evaluating potential datasets.

This position is a hybrid position out of our New York City headquarters.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct research on medical and wellness subsegments to understand value chains and data flows in each
• Identify relevant prospective partners and customers, and manage a pipeline of partner outreach and interviews of prospective customers
• Evaluate and compare potential data sources to supplement existing and prospective data products

What You Have:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an analytical, research, or business focus
• Currently a junior or senior (exceptional sophomore candidates will be considered)
• Prior experience in professional work environments
• Ideally previous internship experience in financial services, tech, or research
• Ideally familiarity with advanced Excel functionality and SQL
• Ideally interest in medicine, wellness, aesthetics, and/or cosmetics

• This is a paid internship at $25.00 an hour, ideally between 15-25 hours per week
