Job Description

Vitality is seeking someone with a passion for collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and support automated data solutions. As a Data Support Analyst, you enjoy building relationships with end-users to understand their reporting and data needs. You also enjoy learning about and supporting data applications, data pipelines and reporting systems. You are always seeking to build and maintain strong documentation and implement quality assurance processes that enable the team to deliver the highest quality reporting and data for our clients.

As Data Support Analyst, you will have a unique opportunity to help define the key data elements to add value to our clients though Vitality's incredibly rich and varied, dataset. Working directly with teams as varied as actuarial, business intelligence, and product, you will translate their unique requirements specifications for developers. You will help ensure all our data applications and reports are properly tested and operating effectively. Utilizing your skills in client relationship building, you will be at the forefront of helping key stakeholders to articulate the value and impact that Vitality has in achieving our mission of improving people's health and protecting their lives.

Key Outputs may include but are not limited to:

  • Establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders across business units and end-users to analyse, understand, and document requirements
  • Coordinate between data development team and stakeholders/end-users
  • Adhere to departmental standard development, testing, deployment, source control processes, and ticket tracking
  • Ownership of daily team support processes
  • Monitoring and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
  • Responsible for assisting in quality assurance and testing on new reports and data applications and communicating results
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1+ year working with technical data, production support, or analytics teams
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent education/experience in information systems or computer science
  • Excellent analytical communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving skills, manages ambiguity
  • Strong planning and organization, ensuring accountability
  • Ability to work well on a team

Pay Range $70,000.00 - $80,000.00
