Data Technology Consultant at EPAM Systems

We are seeking a Data Technology Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities

Support EPAM's activities in assisting clients with their overall Data Analytics strategy and delivery programmes
Assist clients in maximizing the value of their current Data and Analytics initiatives by recognizing appropriate solutions and services tailored to their individual requirements, limitations, and strategies
Work with the delivery team in various sized complex programmes
Maintain a strong understanding of relevant technical solutions and architecture design trends and best practices
Help drive Data Analytics initiatives
Help drive technology consulting, architecture engagements and transformation through execution phases and work closely with internal, client and third-party vendor mixed teams
Understand the intersection between technology, customers, and business
Work closely with project/program management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model
Deliver clear and consistent communications within projects with relevant stakeholders
Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients

Strong Cloud experience/knowledge in at least one of the major Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) using specific technologies for that Cloud provider
Strong experience as a Data Technical Consultant and/or Data Solution Architect
Experience in some of the following frameworks: Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, Terraform
Experience in SQL and some of the following: Python, Java, Scala, Kotlin
Strong hands-on technology experience in the areas of Data Analytics
Experience in one of the following: Big Data, BI, Data Warehousing, Data Management, Data Storage
Experience working with relevant delivery teams
Ability to clearly articulate the pros and cons of technology choices and solution design decisions and to construct and present rational options to clients
Confidence in expressing points-of-view, making recommendations and presenting analysis and recommendations where appropriate
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Very good English skills
