Engineering is looking for a Data Test Engineer to join our Data Platform team. The Data Platform team gathers and enables data throughout the organization in order to provide insights into all aspects of CHG's business. This allows our Sales and other business partners to make better informed decisions. As a Data Test Engineer on the Data Platform team you will help build and maintain a data warehouse that helps our business gain insight into its operations. You will be an advocate for quality, assisting with architecture and development, and driving best practices for Test Driven Development and continuous delivery via automated testing. This role will report to the Data Test Engineer Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve test automation standards and automation framework.
• Run test automation builds, analyze results, and report issues found. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.
• Research solutions for scaling and improving performance
• Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems
• Contribute to & maintain upcoming migration to the Cloud

Qualifications

• Professional experience in writing and maintaining test automation
• Professional experience in scripting languages like SQL and in ETL development tools like SSIS
• Familiar with test driven development (TDD) methodology.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, patient, and flexible, comfortable in a changing environment. Self-starter with the strong ability to manage multiple tasks and project milestones is required.
• Excellent knowledge of current software testing industry tools and standard methodologies

Education and Years of Experience

• BA/BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years min working in quality assurance with automated testing
• 5+ years testing methodology and tool experience

Preferred

• Experience with designing and building web automation frameworks preferred
• Proficient with testing SOAP and/or RESTful web services
• Experience with DBT
• Experience using Snowflake or other Cloud technologies

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $79,800 -- $193,500 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
