A Federal Agency Office of Human Resources is seeking business management support, including development and maintenance of business plans, business decision-making, acquisition/contract management, strategic planning, information technology, data analytics, and knowledge management.

The Data Visualization Analyst will work in collaboration with the Office of Human Resources seeking support in areas such as business management, development and maintenance of business plans, decision-making, acquisition/contract management, strategic planning, information technology, data analytics, and knowledge management. The Data Visualization Analyst will collaborate closely with the Office of Human Resources, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and strategic initiatives tailored to the needs of the federal agency.

Roles and Responsibilities

• You will be part of a small team working closely the government to deliver quality services.
• Serve as team technical expert and consultant, expertise in advanced analytics modeling & data visualization.
• Responsible for the correlation, design and development of compelling data visualizations collected from various sources and databases via a variety of techniques to be presented in written and oral methods to all levels of customer management.
• Analyze data to identify known and unknown data relationships and patterns.
• Transforming data sets through quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals that help inform decision making.
• Ability to manipulate large data sets and use them to identify trends and reach meaningful conclusions to inform strategic business decisions.
• Present data-driven insights and address questions from a non-technical audience.
• Understand data gaps that tie data components together for visualization purposes.
• Effectively partner with a cross-contractor team while receiving input from a non-technical client
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile, and identify gaps, uncover unmet business needs and work with data engineering, solution architect to create a finished solution.
• Collaborate with other data professionals to extract data, create reports based on their findings, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business initiatives’ success.
• Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Use knowledge of the specific data available, forecasting/analysis methods and visualization capabilities to enhance requirements and provide insightful suggestions to business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, data science, or operations research.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, or other data visualization software.
• Ability to transform raw data into effective visualization dashboards.
• Experience in compiling, organizing, and cleaning data for dashboard or business intelligence tool input.
