Data Visualizer Analyst

Job Summary:
DT Professional Services is seeking an entry level Data Visualizer Analyst to support our NSWC team in Corona, CA! The individual plays a critical role in translating complex data sets into visually compelling and actionable insights that support decision-making processes within the Navy.
As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these include, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), staying focused on the assigned tasks, and completing other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various Analyst to understand their data requirements and visualize data using Tableau to create interactive and visually appealing dashboards
• Transform raw data into meaningful insights, trends, and actionable visualizations that enhance decision-making
• Develop detailed management reports in Tableau
• Work closely with Data Analysts and business stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide valuable insights into key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and trends
• Assist in analyzing data sets to identify patterns, trends, and outliers, contributing to data-driven insights

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD issued Secret Clearance
• Relevant Degree or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of professional experience with dashboard development in Tableau and integration through data management practices
• 2 years of experience in Tableau Desktop
• Experience with working with Department of Defense contracts/clients
• Able to determine patterns or trends and their statistical significance to the problem
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
• Able to work independently and perform without errors

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Government or DoD (Navy, Army, Marine Corps, or Air Force) entities
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

The compensation range for this position: $65,000 - $75,000 annually.
