Your Role and Responsibilities
The Data and AI Expert Lab provides technical consulting on Data & AI with a focus on the use of IBM products including data science and AI solutions data infrastructure migration and Data Ops.
We are looking for a consultant to work on Data Science & AI services.
The main responsibilities of the position are as follows:
• Provide consulting services to help customers effectively utilize IBM software and cloud services in Data Science & AI.
• The consultant will propose and design solutions define requirements and implement them using the specified software and cloud services in order to address customer challenges.
• Offer specialized knowledge in implementing migrating and reporting Database and BI systems with a focus on IBM Db2 and IBM Cognos. Depending on the project there may also be opportunities to lead project management efforts.
• In addition to IBM Db2 and IBM Cognos the role will involve working with other companies’ products/technologies within the Database and BI field where you will contribute as a technical expert within IBM.
This position offers various career advancement opportunities including becoming a subject matter expert in a specific product/technology area architect project manager or expanding your expertise into other technology domains.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Proficient in solution design and environment setup using relational databases like Db2 Db2Warehouse Oracle Teradata and EDB.
• Skilled in designing solutions building environments and generating reports using various BI tools such as IBM Cognos Business Objects Brio Tableau and more.
• Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of hybrid cloud architecture.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Data migration consulting planning and execution skills.
• Experience in middleware implementation and environment construction projects in a cloud environment.
• Project management experience.
