Your Role and Responsibilities

Database Administrator are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients. As a Database Administrator with IBM you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of and access to our most important resource data.

• Install and maintain database servers.
• Manage and monitor DR Databases.
• Manage and monitor Always on Replication servers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
• Install upgrade patching and manage database servers.
• Manage database access.
• Be available for on-call support as needed.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• PowerShell scripting skills.
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
• Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
