Raytheon Technologies is looking for a highly motivated Database Administrator to support multiple contracts and or proposals across the mission area. Using agile development methodologies, the DBA will provide leading edge database solutions and support for three tier application environments (application, database, and storage). The DBA will be responsible for working within an application tier environment primarily built around COTS-based software applications within an Enterprise Architecture. Within the database team, the DBA will be responsible for working with and supporting MySQL and MS-SQL servers and databases, as well as supporting legacy applications. Experience with Always On Availability Groups is highly desired. Experience supporting MySQL and MS-SQL within AWS and Azure clouds is a plus. The DBA will be responsible for installing and testing database version updates and software changes. The DBA will also be responsible for providing centralized administration and management for local and remote databases.

Required Skills:
• Must have a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
• Must have experience with Microsoft SQL and MySQL Server in Database environment
• Must be DOD 8570 compliant, IAT Level II required
• Experience within the Cybersecurity domain
• Experience gathering requirements and defining projects
• Demonstrated ability to perform system upgrades, maintenance, and reporting.
• Willing to work alone on individual projects while being involved in larger projects as a team effort with minimal supervision of the lead systems engineer.

Desired Skills:
• Experience with agile software development methodologies

IAT Level III desired

Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or

systems in order to provide enhancements within job area. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years

prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
