Description
We are seeking a Database Coordinator at our downtown Cleveland, Ohio wealth management firm. This position will support the firm by managing and overseeing database systems to provide accurate, current, and timely information to support quality assurance and reporting requirements.
This position offers work from home flexibility 2 days per week.
Position responsibilities:
- Manages the daily maintenance of Tamarac AdvisorView and Tamarac Rebalancer
- Validates new accounts and assigns investment reporting groups
- Closes accounts
- Conducts regular database audits to ensure data integrity
- Conducts weekly account reconciliation
- Manages the quarterly investment reporting process for the Private Client Group by setting the quarterly template, generating, and distributing reports, and handling any adjustments that are needed
- Manages the meeting reporting process for the Private Client Group
- Setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ByAll Accounts and PCR data feeds firm-wide
- Coordinates with the various third-party providers of our databases to troubleshoot reporting issues and other database inquiries
- Monitors and follows up on New Client Checklists and Exit Checklists to ensure that assigned tasks have been completed
- Maintains the log of client internet logins and passwords ("web contacts log")
- Prepares and updates Investment Department procedures as needed
- Provides weekly cash reports
- Provides various audited reports to the Research and Compliance departments
- Provides billing reports
- Focuses on continuous process improvement
- Sets up new employees to utilize databases
- Completes other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
- 2-5 years of related experience at an investment management firm, accounting firm or financial institution
- Ability to work under pressure, organize and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong computer proficiency (e.g. Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook)
- Experience with Fidelity, Schwab, Tamarac and Portfolio Center
- Develops a basic familiarity of the tools available to complete assigned projects in a paperless environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player
