SUMMARY

Database engineer to design database in support of detection algorithm development. Data Engineer to work with both data team and algorithm team to optimize data and information collected in the development of automatic detection algorithms.

DUTIES

Designs database engines, queries, and data entry techniques to support extensive data collected during development of detection algorithms.

Specify, design, procure, or otherwise develop capability for ground truth (annotation) of images from variety of 3D CT scanners.

Specify, design, procure, or otherwise develop capability for automated scoring of detection algorithms.

Coordinates the efforts of physicists, engineers and technicians assigned to projects. Maintains liaison with various divisions.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, database design, or software engineering.

Knowledge of physics, computed tomography, or explosive detection is a plus.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• US citizenship and the ability to obtain SECRET level clearance is required.

LOCATION:

• The position is based at Analogic's headquarters in Peabody, MA.
