Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

Investment Solutions Technology (IST) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm's WM Technology Division. We provide technology-based platforms that support products used by Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Financial Advisors, Customer Service Associates, Operations Organization, External Money Managers, and External Clients. The core product platforms within IST are Advisory Products Technology, Investment Products Technology, Capital Markets Technology, and Field Management Technology. Investment Product Technology group is responsible for building trading platforms for investment products such as Mutual Funds, Retirements / College Planning, UITs, Alternative Investments, Insurance and Annuities.

We are seeking an Intermediate MS SQL Server Developer with exposure to ETL developer who can work as part of the Alternative Investments Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the applications that support the Alternative Investments business. You should be results oriented, comfortable working as part of an Agile team, and thrive on developing systems that are of high quality. Qualifications:

Education: BS/BE degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

Primary Skills / Must have:

1) 5+ years of industry experience.

2) A hands-on technologist with a few years of experience in design and development of enterprise applications.

3) Senior SQL Server Developer with experience handling large volume database & DB performance Optimization

4) The candidate should have good experience in data modelling, DB tuning, creation of Indexes, partitions etc.

5) Good experience writing Stored Procedures, Views and complex queries.

6) Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling

7) Experience with ETL tools like Informatica or something similar

8) Ability to understand complex business processes and be able to interpret business requirements and produce functional/technical specification

9) Ability to work in a structured environment utilizing source control, CI/CD, Agile methodologies, with a high focus on quality.

10) Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

1) Working knowledge or exposure to reporting and analytical tool like Tableau or Power BI

2) Understanding of Asset/Wealth management domain

3) Experience developing and supporting applications in the banking domain
