About the Job:
We are searching for highly motivated individuals who possess a strong technical background, truly enjoy technology, are eager to learn, and have a knack for problem-solving.ย Our developers are passionate about creating solutions from scratch, taking on challenges with enthusiasm, and collaborating effectively within a team. You will work closely with team members to design quality, scalable, and performant solutions within Salesforce that meet our clientโs business requirements and drive success.ย You would play a critical role in driving the success of Salesforce implementations, ensuring that the solutions delivered are of the highest quality, and meet the needs of both the customer and the business.
Who You Are:
As a Database Developer, you should be passionate about designing and building high-performance, reusable, and reliable SQL code using best practices. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and adapt as new technologies and methodologies emerge. You should be able to quickly identify bugs and pinpoint problems in order to resolve them. You will work closely with team members to ensure that the solutions delivered are of the highest quality, and meet the needs of both the customer and the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring)
- Develop stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views using SQL.
- Develop functional SQL queries and execute database queries
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
- Provide expertise on working with SQL, data modeling, and data integrity
- Develop and maintain data models to ensure data integrity, efficiency, and optimal performance. This includes conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
- Database Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor database health, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide timely support to users and stakeholders. Implement monitoring tools and alerts to proactively identify and address potential problems.
- Documentation and Training: Document database design, configurations, procedures, and best practices. Provide training and support to database users, developers, and stakeholders to ensure proper utilization of database systems and adherence to established guidelines' potential problems
- Design, develop, Q/A, document, and execute client initiatives
- Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java/SQL code using best practices
Minimum Qualifications:
- A major in Information Science, Computer Science, or Data Architecture, BCA/MCA
- Expert Data Architecture experience (Be able to build schemas and be able to analyze and propose workarounds)
- Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
- Expertise on working with SQL systems (2-5yrs): MySQL/ MSSQL Server/ Oracle, MongoDB/ DynamoDB, Python, or Redis.
- Proficient in performance tuning of queries and Stored Procedures.
- Fluent (written and verbal) in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to breakdown high-level business
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Coachability(An interest in learning)
- A hardworking attitude (Goes above and beyond)
- A mind for self improvement (Can positively receive critical feedback)
- A self learner (Is curious and seeks additional skills/ knowledge)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of API framework: knowledge of data flow/integrations
- Previous experience in executing client deliverables
- Worked with Salesforce or familiar with the data architecture (optional, but preferred)
- A Showcase of personal programming projects
- Share GitHub repository
- Familiarity with Salesforce(Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Datorama, Tableau, Pardot, Marketing Cloud or Interaction studio), Amazon AWS, Oracle, and/or Snowflake
- Scripting skills (Python/JavaScript)
- Data Modelling
