Job Description

If you're interested in pursuing a career in the world of digital assets, then come and join our Engineering Team based in London where you will contribute to the development and functionality requirements of the trading platform whilst working closely with the Product Team.

Responsibilities 

• Developing post trade features such as position and risk reporting, trade booking, settlement or reconciliation processes.
• Build features that help customers manage the complete trade life cycle of digital assets
• Work with engineers, designers, product and senior leadership to drive the vision for the future of Elwood into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
• Monitor and support all production system components.

Required Experience

• Extensive SQL Experience (Postgres SQL, SQL Server or other RDBMS)
• Financial Services experience developing post trade functionality such as position and risk reporting, trade booking, settlement or reconciliation processes.
• Golang experience or other structured languages (C#/Java)
• Strong coding skills: writing reliable, readable code and providing code review feedback is second nature

Nice to have 

• FIX protocol
• Golang experience
• POSIX-oriented, Serverless Architecture, Public cloud experience GCP/AWS
• Gateway/Lambda/Step Functions/Data Lake
• Cloud Function/App Engine/Big Query
• Postgres SQL
• Cloud Function/App Engine/Big Query
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance
• Excellent object oriented or functional analysis and design skills
• POSIX-oriented, Serverless Architecture, Public cloud experience GCP/AWS
• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
