Database Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance Required)

This program requires employees pass a CI Poly every 5 years.  If you have a Full Scope Poly, working this program will keep your Full Scope ACTIVE.

North Point Technology is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Database Engineers to support a critical mission out of Herndon, VA. 

As a member of a enterprise database team, responsibilities will include supporting new development and maintenance of a critical large-scale mission system.  We are currently looking for candidates with the following experience:

• Experience installing, patching, upgrading and administering Oracle Databases

• Experience installing, patching, upgrading and administering Postgres Databases

• Experince upgrading RDS databases

• Experience hardening RDS and non-RDS Oracle and Postgres databases

• Experience working with Oracle Label Security (OLS)

• Experience with Oracle Data Guard

• Experience with AWS DMS

• Ability to follow complex controlled processes (VersionOne, Jira, GIT)

• Experience with cm processes and deployments to an large scale enterprise system

• Experience with Golden Gate

• Experience with Agile development methodology

• Domain Knowledge with NGA/Intelligence Community (IC) Systems

• Somewhat flexible schedule, but majority of the work must be done onsite.
