Database Intern

Ascend Learning is hiring a Database Intern in our Burlington, MA office location that will work on a hybrid schedule for Summer 2023. As an intern, you will be streamlining our Database processes and documentations for SQL server, MySQL, Postgres and Mongo db. This will be an opportunity for individual to work hands-on in our non-prod environments and gain a real time experience along with learn Ascend defined standard and processes.

Education & Experience

• Currently Junior or a Senior college level student preferred
• Some prior experience in similar role preferred
• Knowledge of Database management System. - SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres and Mongodb
• Experience on linux and Windows Operating System
• Concepts of Relational Database Management Systems and NOSQL technologies
• Good to have Data Security concepts
• Understanding of Data Governance models
