Database Marketing Analyst

The Database Marketing Analyst is responsible for business-to-consumer (B2C) campaign execution and delivery for all marketing, servicing and regulatory communications. This job provides technical support to marketing to generate communications to consumers. Working under general supervision, this job interfaces with marketing business partners to understand the business objective and data requirements of the marketing campaign, and translates the request into technical data specifications for execution.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Supports B2C campaign planning processes by providing data insights into campaign development and execution, and by providing input on time allocation for campaign development and execution.
• Creates data audits and waterfalls for review and approval by marketing business partners.
• Adheres to governance by applying suppressions and marketing preferences based on campaign requirements.
• Utilizes marketing tools (SAS Marketing Automation; Siebel Marketing; Sales Force CDP, Unica, Adobe Campaign) to select eligible participants to include in marketing mailing based on criteria provided.
• Prepares files in required format for specific (internal/external) channel teams/vendors to support deployment of Email, Direct Mail, Inbound Telemarketing, Outbound Telemarketing, Digital Containers, and Social Media.
• Participates in the maintenance of requisite campaign production documentation for audit and risk management purposes.
• Participates in testing of new data elements and platforms.

Required Qualifications:

• Detailed knowledge of campaign execution process, data and tools, including design of experiment construction, measurement and tracking
• 1+ years of data collection and manipulation experience
• 1+ years' experience creating marketing lists, creating waterfalls, and sending files to outside vendors through secure methods
• 1+ years' experience reading business requirements documents and translate defined requirements into detailed, field specific data pulls and execute code for list execution
• 1+ years' experience with campaign execution process, data and tools, including design of experiment construction, measurement and tracking
• Able to efficiently collaborate with business partners to understand business requirements and translate into technical specifications to build/design the campaign for execution and delivery
• Experience in file distribution and output file generation
• Understanding of marketing policies/standards for suppressions and potential impacts on data volumes and quality

Desired Qualifications:

• Sales Force Marketing Cloud Experience
• Salesforce CDP Campaign Execution Experience
• BA/BS in Marketing, Math, or Statistics
• 1+ years of data collection and manipulation experience using SAS EG and/or Base SAS or other database access tools

Base Pay Range: $52,500/yr. - $87,500/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
